Stem Cells and Cardiovascular Health, with Dr. Mark Houston

Updated: Sep 4

Heart disease has been the leading cause of death in the U.S. for over a century, according to the American Heart Association.

Throughout the century, several medical innovations have emerged to help us fight heart disease, and, recently, stem cells have been at the center of many of them.

In this webinar, we explore Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs), in particular, and discuss how they may benefit cardiovascular health.

We were joined by hypertension and cardiovascular specialist Dr. Mark Houston, who is both a practicing physician and a Celltex client. Dr. Houston co-founded the Hypertension Institute in Nashville, TN, one of the leading institutes in the United States for treating hypertension and related cardiovascular disorders. During the webinar, he shares his perspective as both a cardiovascular health expert and a Celltex client who has used his stem cells.
