Towards the end of her junior year of high school, Megan was diagnosed with a rare form of dysautonomia that causes fatigue, lightheadedness, cognitive impairment, and more. At a time in her life when she was supposed to be going off to college and gaining a new sense of independence, the unpredictable symptoms of her illness restricted her from even leaving the house without her mom.
A few years later, Megan found Celltex and, with the advice of her family, decided to bank her stem cells.
