After the birth of her daughter, Uns Khudairi was diagnosed with thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), a rare blood disorder that causes blood clots to form throughout the body. These blood clots can block the flow of oxygen to several major organs, causing a wide range of life-limiting symptoms.
After years of struggling with her condition, Uns decided to bank her Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) with Celltex and eventually put those MSCs to use.
